安吉尔·加尔文特

安道尔

安吉尔·加尔文特，男，1956年生于安道尔。曾在在西班牙的格拉那达艺术学校专修绘画和雕刻，在西班牙巴塞罗那的雕塑家工作室担任专业绘画师，在安道尔莱塞斯卡尔德－恩戈尔达区艺术学校担任绘画老师。参与创建了安哥拉艺术家联合会,并成为其会员。先后在安道尔，英国，巴西，法国，西班牙，智利，葡萄牙，加拿大及比利时举办个人作品展览。作品反映了人类的精神需求。雕像为一名剽悍的士兵怀抱着一个垂死的平民，想要挽救他的生命。而这一平民正是为他所伤。这一矛盾便是引发他对战争、和平、人类及其基本价值进行思考的原因。

Angel Calvente Gutierrez, male, he was born in 1956 in Andorra. Monographic student in printing and sculpture at the “Escuela de artes aplicadasy oficios “ of Granada-Spain.Academic drawing course at the workshop of the sculptor Joaquim Camps in Barcelona-Spain.

Printing and drawing teacher at “Espai d’art Comu d’Escaldes-Engordany –Andorra.

Member and co-founder of la “Xarranca”association of artists and creators of Andorra.

His works ’Reflection on War and Peace’ reflects human’s spiritual demand. The sculpture figure describes that a strong soldier is embracing a dying citizen and wants to save his life, however, it is he who has hurt the citizen. The paradox is the reason that arouses him to think of the war, peace, human and his essential values.
