And the participants included the leaders from relevant departments, all Arts Council members of Sculpture Institute and the whole staff of Sculpture Institute and Changchun Urban Sculpture Office.

The lectures by Professor Wang Zhong and Professor Wang Que, introduce public art forms in contemporary cities with original opinions and ample cases, and reveal how public art is detached from “product” and constructs the cultural field of public domain. The two professors impressed the participants with humorous languages and unique opinions. The forum would provoke the new thinking of the sculpture theorists and artists as well as urban sculpture administrators, and point out a new direction for the construction and development of urban sculpture culture.
