Brief Introduction on “Flowering Spring and Fruitful Autumn—Exhibition of Cao Chunsheng’s Works in His 60 Years of Artistic Career ”
Cao Chunsheng, is a famous Chinese master of sculpture and promoter of urban sculpture cause, honorary president of China Sculpture Institute, distinguished sculptor of China Academy of Sculpture in Chinese National Academy of Arts, and was awarded the title of national artist with outstanding contribution by the State Council. In the early period of the construction of Changchun urban sculpture, Mr. Cao made enormous contributions and provided valuable suggestions for the development direction of Changchun urban sculpture. This exhibition displayed 66 excellent sculpture works and 138 sketches of Mr. Cao’s 60 years of artistic career.

Changchun held the 1st ‘Spring Cup’ Chinese Young Sculptors Invitational Exhibition with “Spring” as its theme, which invoked young sculptors’ passion to reveal youthful vigor and inexhaustible live in Changchun—land of sculpture. This exhibition displayed 96 sculpture works of 99 excellent young sculptors.
Brief Introduction on “Watercolor Masters Invitational Exhibition of Contemporary China”
The exhibition displayed 76 works of 19 Chinese excellent watercolour artists represented by Mr. Chen Jian, deputy director of Watercolor Arts Council of China Artists Association. The works revealed the watercolour artists’ fascinating style of eulogizing life and admiring nature.
