等待

作品《等待》，用简单、柔和的线条勾勒出一对相互爱慕的青年男女。男子怀抱象征自己祖先的面具，等待着与心仪的女子组建一个幸福美满的家庭，将这种原始、纯朴的和谐与博爱世代延续下去。

作者，埃里古·培芮纳，男，1981年出生于东帝汶帝里市的一个雕塑世家。雕塑这门艺术从祖辈延续至今已有200余年，成为该家族一项经久不衰的事业。其创作中独特的构思与精湛的雕刻技巧，是其它创作所不可比拟的。许多作品被当地及中国、美国、印度尼西亚等国的收藏家收藏。

Waiting is telling a beautiful story between man and woman with simple but gentle lines. A man falls in love with a nice woman and he hopes to marry her and live a happy, harmonious life forever, passing on peace and harmony which has been handed down from his forefathers.

The author, Elizeu Pereina, male, was born in Dili-Timor Leste in 1981.Carving is traditional work which has been passed on from generation to generation since it was started 200 years ago in his family. The excellent ideas and unique design and carving skill are incomparable. Many of his works were collected locally or by collectors from China, America, Indonesia and many other countries.
