火炬

作品《火炬》以一个举着火炬的赛跑运动员象征年轻人坚强的毅力，对运动无限的追求和对生活永远的热情。不问年龄，不分种族，即使身体残疾，只要你热爱生命，热爱生活，都可以向奥林匹克冲刺。这就是奥林匹克精神，是人类向任何困难最强有力的宣战。

作者利班·奥贾马·马哈茂德,男，1988年3月25日出生于吉布提。现就读于吉布提宝乐大学。这部火炬作品是吉布提友人特地为2008年北京奥运会献上的礼物。祝愿2008奥运圆满成功！

Torch

A runner holding a torch stands for the perseverance of young people and their pursuit of sports and their love for life. Regardless of the age and race, and even if he is disabled, as long as he loves life, one can participate in the Olympic Games. Liban Ojama Mahamoud, male, born on 25^th March 1988 in Djibouti presently studies in Pole University in Djibouti now. This sculpture Torch is the special gift for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games from Djibouti. The sculptor and his fellow countrymen wish the Olympic Games will be succeeful.
