等待

作品《等待》，通过用简单的线条描绘一位怀抱孩子的母亲形象，表达了母爱的伟大，母亲对孩子的爱不求回报，对孩子的未来怀着深切的期待之心。

作者，克莉丝汀·崔，女，1965年出生在韩国的群山市，1991年移居到关岛（美国）。2002年，她的第一个作品《Carabao》诞生，之后一直被陈列在关岛安理会艺术与人文机构画廊。2004年她代表关岛参加了在塞班岛举行的第二十三届“火焰树”艺术节和在秘鲁举行的第九届太平洋艺术节。从2005年到2008年连续三年参加女性艺术展。2007年获得关岛文化和人类科学奖金，用于雕塑关岛上濒危的物种，同年成为查莫洛艺术家协会的成员。2008年成为Guma Mami′s的成员。主要代表作品有《两个恋人》、《拥抱》等。

                     Waiting

The sculpture Waiting, with simple lines, depicts a mother with a baby and expresses the great mother’s love. Mother has the unconditional love for child and she is expecting for the future of the child.

Christine Choe, female, was born in Kunsan city, South Korea in 1965 and moved to Guam in 1991. Her first work Carabao was exhibited in the Guam coucil in the Arts and Humanities Agency. In 2004, as a Guam delegate member she took part in the 23^rd Flame Tree Arts Festival Saipan and the 9^th Festival of Pacific Arts, Korea, republic of Balau. From 2005-2008 she attended Annual Women Arts Show. In 2007, she received a grant from the Guam Council on the Art and Humanities Agency, for the sculpture of Guam′ endangered species. In the same year she was selected as a member of the Chamorro Artist Association Art Show. In 2008, she became a member of Guma Mami′ Art Show. Her chief works include Lovers and The Embrace and so on.
